Dentist Loan Program and COVID-19 Information

As shared by email and by phone with participating practices on March 31, 2020 — Delta Dental of Missouri has launched a $5 million Dentist Loan Program to help address the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our participating network dentists. We began welcoming loan applications on that date.

Our low-interest loan program was created to assist network dentists in Missouri, who have been affected by COVID-19 disruptions, and to address their immediate practice cash-flow needs — and, in turn, help preserve continuity of care for Delta Dental of Missouri members. Our program will provide qualifying dentists with a lump-sum loan amount ranging from $2,000 up to $15,000.

In the meantime, please be assured that Delta Dental of Missouri is continuing to deliver uninterrupted service to our network dentists, members, clients and producers. Through our virtual workplace program, nearly all of our employees are performing their regular job duties while telecommuting from home during normal business hours.

As a result, our customer service team is ready to serve you as usual from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday. Claims continue to be processed within our standard timeframes. And, although our professional relations team is not visiting network dentist practices until further notice, your designated representative is available to assist you via phone or email as usual during regular business hours.

As we navigate through this unprecedented and evolving situation together, we’re committed to continuing to deliver exceptional service and support to you and your practice staff.
